Title "On Foot"
毎朝、スズメがわたしの家のテラスに餌を食べに来る。
Every morning sparrows came to my terrace
for food.
この2年余り、
わたしは、パソコンに熱中している。
I have been absorbed in my personal computer
for about two years.
干したザクロ。
色合いが、何とも美しい。
A dried pomegranate.
It has beautiful color.
雪の日は、
スズメたちは、
激しく餌を求めてやってくる。
It was snowing.
Sparrows picked grains avidly.
スズメは、警戒心が強く、
家の中で、ちょっと身体を動かしただけでも、
逃げていく。
Sparrows are very cautious.
They fly away
even with my slight movement in the room.
暖かくなって、
この小さなテラスにも、
芽が出て、花が咲く。
It was getting warmer.
Plants sprouted
and bloomed
on my little terrace.
枯れたチューリップの花を、
とても美しい、と感じる。
I feel the beauty
of the dead flower
of tulip.
毎年、水仙の花が咲くのを
齣撮りしていたが、
今年は、撮らなかった。
This year, I didn't film
the flowers of narcissus
frame by frame
as last year.
バラの若芽。
The young bud of rose.
雲が動き、
外へ行きたい気持ちを唆られる。
Moving clouds aroused
my heart to go to outdoors.
部屋の中で、
体操をする。
この頃、腰の痛みがひどい。
In the room,
I took some exercise.
I have pain in the waist these days.
郊外の、
住宅地を歩くと、
新しいスタイルの家が目に付く。
Walking in the residential area
of the suburbs,
new style houses caught my eye.
わたしは、見知らぬ他人の
夢の中を歩いているのだと
気がつく。
I understood I was walking
in the dream
of unknown persons.

それが、
とても、気持ちいい。
It's very
pleasant.
わたしも、
部屋の中だけど
素裸になってみる。
Like them, I took off my clothes
in my room.
初冬のころ、
庭に咲いた一輪のバラが､
印象的だった。
In the beginning of winter,
a rose was in bloom.
It was very impressive.
バラに、
カメラでキスした。
I kissed the rose with my camera.
日は巡って、
60歳を過ぎたわたしは
死に近づいている。
The days pass by,
and I passed over 60 years.
I am getting nearer to the death.
